Dr. Straga graduated with honors
from Kent State University obtaining a B.A. dual major in Biology and Pre-Med with a Psychology Minor. She Mastered
in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, FL and obtained her Doctorate at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Miami, FL. She completed
her Rotating Internal Medicine Internship at Pinellas Community
Hospital in Tampa, FL
and completed another MD Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Southern Alabama in Mobile, AL before
completing her MD Residency in Neurology at the University of Texas
in Galveston, TX.
Dr. Jeanette M Straga
is the medical director of Coastal Neurological Consultants. Her professional interests
include women’s health issues, headaches and preventative health care. She places strong emphasis on achieving
and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent disease and believes that both the patient and the doctor work together toward
these goals. Dr. Straga is a physician who listens, explains, and works with her patients.
Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Dr. Straga speaks English and German, with
a little Spanish.
She is happy to finally
call Southern California home.
